It is a cooperative service of your employer, and any other payer such as the Social Security Administration, and CMAR Credit Union whereby your paycheck is electronically deposited into your requested account and is available the morning of payday. Encrypted transfer eliminates any possibility of losing your check and, with deposits made immediately; there are no holds on funds for check clearing.

You must enroll with your payroll department or other payer. You will need your account number and CMAR's ABA routing number 261171972. You will still receive a paper earning statement each pay period from your employer or other payer.

Not only does direct deposit save you the time of visiting a CMAR branch, it makes you more money as each day your money is on deposit, you earn additional interest.
